The Alaska Highway Dawson Creek, British Columbia to Delta Junction, Alaska (historical routes, heritage sites, sightseeing, driving tour) Pioneer Road - Contract Road - Public Road
The sites are good-sized and well-separated by means of a variety of deciduous bushes. The forest is mainly spruce. There is a lovely day use area with beach, picnic shelter, tables, toilets, playground and a boat launch. The tables are extra-long and there are bear-proof garbage bins. Trails may be used by ATVs, as well as foot traffic. The Kluane Mountains can be viewed in the distance.
